HBCS is committed to providing extensive data analysis and reporting to our healthcare organization members. We believe reporting and quantitative analysis result in superior operational performance and also provide critical feedback to our healthcare organizations. HBCS has dedicated reporting and systems resources that support our management and staff in performing their daily functions, as well as provide value added information to hospitals to assist in the overall improvement of the revenue cycle.
HBCS provides a variety of standard performance reports for our healthcare members and has advanced customized reporting capabilities. These performance reports allow HBCS management and hospitals to track basic accounts receivable statistics such as collection recovery percentages, days in accounts receivable or aging, to more detailed data such as billing rejections by reason code and registration area, or insurance found and compromised demographic data by registration area while working Self-Pay accounts.
HBCS provides reports to support all electronic interfaces with our healthcare clients. These include account placement, return and transfer reports. HBCS can also provide reporting to support our audit and control processes.
HBCS produces extensive operational reports to help optimize our performance for our member healthcare organizations. HBCS uses various tools to identify accounts that are in a condition that requires prompt attention. Payor and conditional reporting are also produced to help understand the receivable and provide valuable information for healthcare patient accounting and managed care personnel. HBCS extensively analyzes data from our telephony systems to assure call penetration and call center service level requirements are maintained to satisfactory performance levels.
HBCS has developed web based reporting capabilities for hospitals to access their performance reports online. HBCS also produces month end performance books containing standard and custom reports as well as narratives on the current issues, challenges and successes that occurred during the month.
